What Do We Do?
Friends of Israel has three main missions on our campus:
Our events on campus try to incorporate various elements of Israel through different forms of engagement. In the past we have had speakers, film screenings, cooking events, trivia games, current events, martial arts training, and dances. If you have any ideas for events or something you would like to see happen on our campus please don't hesitate to contact Ivan Goncharenko [email protected] to offer your ideas.
- Bring Israel culture and identity to Virginia Tech by which students can create and maintain a relationship with Israel
- Implement Israel advocacy on campus
- Provide opportunities for students to travel to Israel through alternative breaks, study abroad, and internships
